Our Unitarian Universalist Service Committee -- UUSC -- is our UU human rights organization, powered by grassroots collaborations. One of our most inspiring and effective UU enterprises, UUSC fosters social justice and works toward a world free from oppression in dozens of countries around the world. Its innovative approaches are grounded in the belief that all people have inherent dignity and rights.
Brad Korb, our speaker, is an Alabama Unitarian Universalist who has been a volunteer leader for UUSC for over a decade. He has many experiences and inspirations to share, along with the deep meaning and opportunities of the 'Guest at Your Table' program.
Each year UUSC invites all UU congregations to participate in its 'Guest at Your Table' Program -- and this morning's service will introduce this opportunity for our congregation as a way of supporting care and justice around the globe through UUSC.
