As we did last year, we will join the wider UU community in the largest annual gathering of UUs joining in worship. This service will be streamed through our online Zoom meeting space, and we will still hold a Coffee Hour at the end to connect with and catch up with each other.
Recognizing the importance of shared ministry and the many innovative approaches to worship created by congregations during the pandemic, UUA President, Rev. Dr. Susan Frederick Gray, selected the First Universalist Church of Minneapolis to serve as worship leaders for this year's GA Sunday Morning Service. UUCO is a welcoming congregation and invites you join us this Sunday for online services. However, due to security concerns we are unable to publish the link to the service. Contact Sandra Moss at [email protected] to have the link sent to you. Please request link before Sunday.

As a community, we will view a live-streamed production offered by Meadville Lombard Theological School, of which our very own Gail Stratton is an alum. The sermon will be presented by Rev. Nancy Ladd, “who is an excellent speaker” according to Gail.
Rev. Nancy McDonald Ladd, Senior Minister of River Road UU Congregation in Bethesda, Maryland, will preach on "Going to the Well of Living Waters," based on the Gospel of John 4:1-26. A special musical guest is Mark Miller, faculty at Drew Theological School, and the Institute of Sacred Music at Yale University. Coffee Hour will follow the live-streamed service. This service will feature interactive opportunities for all ages, with a focus on giving the children opportunities to share their thoughts on the importance of play. "

Play transcends generations, and it often identifies and unites us as a community. Sarah Schnaithman will present three different aspects of play: individual, partner, and with a group. She will share some of her own stories of what play means to her and then she will invite others from the congregation, both young and wise alike, to contribute to a community conversation about what play means to them.
