As a congregation, we are dedicated to examining and acting upon social justice issues facing our Oxford-Lafayette community, the state of Mississippi, and the larger national and world community.
Over the last few years we have hosted numerous Sunday Service Talks as well as other events dedicated to raising awareness and contributing in times of need. Many activities in the past have specifically focused on issues of race relations in the Oxford-Lafayette Community. We are dedicated to opening dialogue between and developing friendships with the local African-American Christian congregations and our diverse Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Oxford. |
