2024-2025 UUCO Committee Chairs
After retiring from college teaching in California, Carmen and her husband, José, took a leap of faith and moved to Oxford two years ago. They had never visited Oxford nor had any acquaintances in town. Looking for a spiritual community, they found UUCO and felt at home because of its warm welcome and its message of community, inclusion, and social justice. Carmen enjoys volunteering in the community, reading, listening to music, and spending time with José and their dogs.
