Foundations of Living: Living with Gratitude - Rev. Dr. Gail Stratton - Sunday, June 4, 20235/29/2023 In this third offering we will explore what it can mean to “take in the good.” Living with gratitude does not mean living in denial but rather daring to be open to the joy of life as well as the pain and challenges. There is some faith needed to truly live this!

Outgoing Sunday Services Trustee, Sarah Schnaithman, will be leading our time together this coming Sunday, May 28. This service will incorporate some of our traditional service elements, and will include a brief greeting and updates from the ACLU of Mississippi (our Share-the-Plate for the month of May). The formal parts of the service will be abbreviated, so that we can incorporate coffee, pastries (& / or other edibles), and conversation as we build and strengthen our community. We ask that you bring something edible to share. (Be creative. It doesn't have to be pastries!)

Sometimes, the most loving thing is to not do anything but to be present to one another. When have you asked, “What is the most loving thing to do?”

SERVICE LEADER: Sarah Schnaithman MUSIC BY: Tycho Jenkins Come join us in community this Sunday as we recognize and celebrate the many transitions in our lives. Transitions could be a move from one school (or job, or house) to another; a graduation; a promotion; a career or education change; a birth; or, even the passing of a loved one. There are two ways in which you can participate. Prior to Sunday's service, you could send a statement about a transition (and include a picture, if available), or you could contribute verbally during a dedicated time during the service. Please send any statements and / or pictures to Sarah Schnaithman ([email protected] or 678-381-1841). Following an abbreviated Sunday Service, we will transition into our UUCO Annual Meeting!
