Come celebrate life in this service on death! The first part of the service will be a celebration, featuring our Halloween parade. Watch for more details about this service! Rev. Gail Tapscott will share some thoughts on how UUCO could move toward creating a community fostering deeper connections and a place of refuge away from both home and work - not just for our members but for the larger community.
Rev. Gail Stratton, Service Leader
Music: Quinoa Soedsaur and Reynold Budhi Amy McDowell and Jessie Wilkerson will tell the story of how they are helping to create a LGBTQ public history project at the University of Mississippi. They will discuss motivations and what they've learned from doing this work. We long to belong. And a part of belonging is having some means of “saying sorry” and of forgiveness. This Sunday corresponds with the Jewish Days of Awe or Days of Repentance that starts with Rosh Hashanah and ends with Yom Kippur.
