"Be A Dandelion: A Flower Ceremony" Speaker: Rev. Sarah Osborne Sunday, March 31, 2024 Be A Dandelion: A Flower Ceremony In a fraught world, the persistence and fierceness of the dandelion encourages us to live and love boldly. Join Rev. Sarah Osborne for the celebration of our annual Flower Communion. Bring a flower or plant to share and you’ll be invited to select a new bloom during the ceremony. And stay after the service for the fun and joyous adventure egg hunt! Watch on YouTube. Join us Sunday, March 24, 2024. What would it look like to metamorphose? Wendy Pfrenger leads the service this Sunday with an imaginative multigenerational service, "Metamorphosis: A Taxonomy." UUCO Youth will make a special appearance with their performance of "The Woman Who Married a Merman." Watch on YouTube. Join us Sunday, March 17th, as Michaelene Johnson leads us in a coffee house style discussion of bucket lists! By purposely placing what we dream of doing on the horizon, we are better able to hold on to the person we dream of becoming!
What are some of the unique challenges and opportunities of 2024? And what are some tools that we have as a faith community as we move forward into the world of today? Holding on to our mission and values we will consider the future we wish to create!
And remember that there is a potluck following the service! UUCO is a welcoming congregation and we invite you to join us either in person or via zoom this Sunday at 10:30 am. Unfortunately we are unable to publish the link to the service due to security concerns. Please email [email protected] to have the link sent to you. Please request link before Sunday. |
