"The Vision" and "UUCO Chili Cook-Off" - Sunday, January 28, 2024

Join UUCO’s Vice President Walter Flaschka and RE Trustee Wendy Pfrenger for a thoughtful exploration of where UUCO is headed in the new year. During this interactive visioning session, Walter will share highlights and data from the Board before the congregation engages in a combination of reflection and guided discussion. This forward-focused service will answer the question: what might it look like for our community to flourish in the coming year?

2nd Annual UUCO Chili Cookoff
We're thrilled to invite you to UUCO’s second annual chili cookoff following this Sunday's Vision Planning service. Whether you're a seasoned chef or a novice cook, we encourage everyone to participate and savor the variety of flavors our community has to offer.
Date: January 28th
Time: After the UUCO Vision Planning service
Categories for the Chili Cookoff:

1. Best Vegetarian Chili
2. Best Meat Chili
3. People's Choice Award

How to Participate:

• Whip up your best chili creation (choose a category or go crazy and enter multiple!)
• Bring your chili in a slow cooker or pot (we’ve only got 4 burners) to the designated area at least 15 minutes before the start of the service
• Grab a tasting card and indulge in a chili-tasting adventure
• Cast your vote for the awards

Bragging rights are up for grabs! Do you have what it takes to beat last year’s champs?
