We continue our theme of “This is MY Country! Whose?” with this sermon from Rev. Duncan Teague, minister of the Abundant LUUV congregation in South Atlanta. Although recorded on July 5, the message continues to be timely. Rev. Teague speaks of the difference between nationalism and patriotism, and of how he, as an African American gay man, can sing “Of Thee I Sing” if he sings to the higher ideals we have yet to achieve. Rev. Teague has been the visiting minister at UUCO and we are pleased to welcome him back in this virtual manner!
