At the beginning of the 2016-2017 academic year, with this special inter-generational water communion service we welcome back into our midst those who were away on summer travels, as well as all newcomers. In a slight difference from past years, you will not need to bring water from your favorite summer water source. However, we do want you to bring to mind a favorite body of water, small or large. It might be one you visited this summer. Please bring those memories to our time together.
In addition to the water communion and a personal water reflection time, we will have a guest speaker who will address water problems and concerns here in Mississippi and especially in our Delta.
