Where do UU values and things 'sustainable' intersect? More specifically for this Sunday's focus, why is sustainable agriculture something Unitarian Universalists would naturally support? Daniel Doyle, of the Mississippi Sustainable Agriculture Network (MSAN), will be with with us to explore the possibilities. MSAN is the primary organization in the state of Mississippi concerned with sustainable farming and local food systems. Its mission is to make sustainable farming and local food production thriving enterprises in Mississippi. Jeffery Peavy, our service leader for the morning, works with MSAN as a member of AmeriCorps VISTA.
Many members and friends of UUCO support 'things sustainable' and food from local sources, so expect a lively morning!
