"The Power of Religious Literacy" Speaker Rev. Gail Tapscott Sunday, August 18, 2024 Rev. Gail Tapscott who has been a professor of World Religions as well as a Unitarian Universalist minister will attempt to convince us that as religious liberals we owe it to ourselves to acquire at least a modicum of awareness of other religious communities world wide. In particular we need to become better informed about the many faces of Christianity that have had such an impact on American culture over the past several decades. "Love at the Center" Speaker Rev. Sarah Osborne Sunday, August 11, 2024 Is love at the center of all we do? The recently revised and adopted language for the Article II bylaws of the Unitarian Universalist Association gives congregations a clear articulation of our held values with love at the center. Let’s explore what love looks like in action for our faith community. Join Rev. Sarah Osborne this Sunday for a service with a special blessing of love. Stay afterwards for our monthly potluck. All are welcome. |
